Personal on line ordering
I can appreciate the dilemma of ordering maternity wear on-line – as for any item of clothing purchased without trying or seeing:
- Will I like it once I receive it?
- Will it fit me?
- Returns make for costly garments.
- I have trouble getting clothes to fit me without being pregnant!
If a customer is ordering 2 or more garments I tend to suggest that sending an initial package of various garments for you to try is a good starting point. This will determine:
- Size
- Personal taste
- Fabric
- The correct fit
These 4 elements are critical in selecting the clothes that are right for you.
The package may not necessarily contain exactly what you first envisaged – it may contain more, to give you more options and perhaps to cross check sizes. It will contain swatches of other fabric options, advice about fabric choices, and some fitting tips.
We can discuss the sizing and the style via phone or email. If you are unsure, you can send me a digital image, which often saves the day, as I can give you my advice. We can then finalize your order.
I am happier working with you in this way as I know you are getting exactly what you want, it will fit beautifully, and work well for you your entire pregnancy… and beyond. It is very satisfying with the positive feed back I receive... its fun too!
It will take a little longer to receive the completed order- perhaps 10 days to 2 weeks and will involve a small extra courier cost, but to date all customers are more than happy with this.
